Wine Protos Roble 2016: Protos Roble is a red wine from Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León, Spain, produced by Bodegas Protos. The grapes used grow in vineyards where the harvest is manual and the grapes go through a selection process. The grapes are destemmed and macerated cold to extract the best flavour from the skin. The subsequent fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Protos Roble is aged for 6 months in American oak barrels before resting another half year in the bottle.Protos, which in Greek means “first” is one of the historic cellars on the Spanish landscape. It was established in 1927 and was the first wine produced in Ribera.
Iberico Loin (150 gr.): Is a Spanish cured sausage with a characteristic red colour. This Spanish sausage is made with pig loin muscle free of external fat and tendons. It is marinated and undergoes a process of maturation and drying that ensures a smooth and crisp texture with flavours reminiscent of acorn, paprika and oregano. Noble and much appreciated by lovers of pork meat. It is characterized by late-boot with a piece of Iberian pork loin marinated and no with minced meat. Its aroma is intense and enjoyable.
Iberian Salami Extra (150 gr.): This dry-cured sausage is made from Ibérico pigs in the traditional Spanish way but without pimenton which is used for the chorizo. It is seasoned with salt and pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of coriander. This gives the salchichon an exquisite aroma, low acidity and intense flavor.Meats, selected among the best pork and shredded and marinated with traditional formulas.
